What Happens
At The Initial Consultation
Scheduling a personal consultation with Dr. Hardin and Dr. Aranda is the first step to your brand new smile. Our doctors and staff are ready to get to know you; focusing on your needs and answering any and all questions you may have.
Your confidence in the treatment process matters. Therefore, we will take the necessary steps to ensure you are knowledgeable about all of your options during the consultation with one of our providers. We will go over your medical and dental history with you. We will give you a complete oral exam, along with X-rays. With the findings from your examination, we will then prepare a treatment plan that coincides with your personal needs. We also understand that affordability is important to you. Financial planning such as insurance requirements, payment plans, and additional details will be made clear and available to you so there are no unexpected surprises.
Once your consultation is complete, we would like to offer the flexibility of same-day treatment should you wish to proceed with the mutually agreed upon treatment plan. We know your time is valuable, so what better time than now to get you started on the road to a beautiful smile.
“We want you to smile often — no matter what your age!”

- Teeth that come together abnormally or don’t come together at all
- Jaws and teeth that seem out of proportion to the rest of the face
- Difficulty chewing or biting food
- Consistent breathing through the mouth instead of the nose
- Frequent sucking of finger or thumb
- Jaws that pop or make similar sounds when opening and closing

iCAT 3D Imaging
As long as anatomical information is available, an orthodontist, in most cases, can quickly diagnose and plan. Unfortunately, 2D x-rays are not capable of the three-dimensional radiography needed for a successful diagnosis and a successful orthodontic plan.
Our i-CAT is fully dedicated to finding ways to reduce the amount of radiation exposure to patients while still retaining highly diagnostic images. High-quality images, low-dose options, and full-featured treatment planning software enhance features for highly effective planning in providing the best patient care. The i-CAT®FLX Cone Beam 3D system is designed to provide greater flexibility in scanning, planning, and treatment with a range of innovative features that deliver increased clarity and control.
